Announcing our pricing plan

The time has finally come to introduce our pricing plans for Kosy. This is an incredibly important step for us to not only become a sustainable business but to keep building Kosy into the best product for our users.

We had a lot of fun building Kosy in the last 11 months. After 500 user interviews, 1,000 chat conversations, and 2,000+ survey responses, we are proud to offer a product that has helped remote teams all over the world to work better together. And when we're saying "all over the world" we really mean it -- remote teams in 127 different countries are currently using Kosy to stay connected and  work more efficiently.

Plan details

Now, that Kosy is entering its second year, we've decided to go with a simple and straightforward pricing model: a free tier and a pro tier.

The free tier is, well, free for teams of up to 5 people and 10 guests.  It includes all of the features that have made Kosy so popular in the last year, such as the ability to design your own workspace, use proximity chat, build customized meeting rooms, and more.

To reiterate, we are not putting any integrations or features behind a paywall. On a free plan, your only limitation is the number of people on your team and the number of guests you can invite into your workspace.

The pro tier is $10/month per user if billed annually (or $12 if billed monthly). With it, you can have an unlimited number of users and guests in your virtual Kosy office collaborating, working on projects, and, occasionally, chilling in the pool.

Rollout schedule

For teams of 5 or fewer people that are currently using Kosy, nothing will change -- you can continue using all of the features for free.

If there are more than 5 people on your team, you will have until October 1st to decide whether you want to upgrade to pro.

In order to thank you for being part of our early customer base, we will send over a 20% discount on monthly or yearly plans.

Feedback

We realize that this is a big change, but we're confident that it's the right one. We've been working hard to make sure that Kosy is the best possible product for our users and this new pricing model will allow us to continue improving Kosy and adding new features in the months and years to come.

We’re excited to keep working on Kosy with all of you and as always, we are open to any feature request or feedback on the product.
